The Winter Kickoff is one of South Florida’s eight Junior Majors. The Winter Kickoff is a 54-hole event conducted by the Srixon South Florida PGA Junior Tour presented by Cleveland.

The Winter Kickoff is a 54-hole stroke play event and was played January 18-20 at Indian Spring Country Club.

Overview
The Patty Berg Championship is one of South Florida’s eight junior majors. The Patty Berg Championship is a 54 hole event run in conjunction with the Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association.
Patty Berg was the Woman Athlete of the Year in 1938, 1943, and 1955. She was a chapter member of the Ladies PGA, and supplemented a great tournament record of conducting thousands of instructional clinics around the world. Patty won more than 80 tournaments, including the U.S. Amatuer (1938) and the U.S. Open (1946). Patty Berg was a founding member of Cypress Lake Golf Club.

South Florida Junior PGA Championship

Overview
The South Florida Junior PGA Championship is one of South Florida’s junior majors. This 36-hole stroke play event was designed to highlight South Florida’s top male and female junior golfers. In order to participate in the South Florida Junior PGA Championship, all players had to qualify through one of four local qualifiers. Successful qualifiers paid no additional fee to participate in the South Florida Junior PGA Championship. Players received a premium tee gift at the tournament. Overview
For the seventh year in a row, the South Florida PGA administered the 41st Nicklaus Junior Championship in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Golf Association. The Nicklaus Junior Championship has a long history in Florida, with some of the area's greatest Junior Golfers participating. Previous winners of the Nicklaus Junior Championship included Professional Golfers Brooks Koepka, Chase Koepka, and Daniel Berger. To read more about this event, click here.

Brendan Cunningham Junior Open

Overview
Formerly known as the South Florida Junior Open, this event was renamed to honor Brendan Cunningham. Brendan was a longtime supporter and volunteer of the SFPGA who passed away in 2020. The Brendan Cunningham Junior Open is one of South Florida’s eight junior majors. The Brendan Cunningham Junior Open is a 54 hole event conducted on the South Florida PGA Junior Tour. The Brendan Cunningham Junior Open is open to players holding status on the Medalist Tour. This event is designed to bring a major atmosphere to junior golf in South Florida.

The Labor Day Classic is one of South Florida’s new junior majors. The Labor Day Classic is a 54-hole event conducted by the South Florida PGA Junior Tour. The Labor Day Classic is open to members ages 13-18 on the Medalist Tour.

2025 Junior Tour Championship
December 6-7, 2025 | The Park
Overview
The 2025 Junior Tour Championship will require season-long qualifying to participate. Qualifications will be determined based on Srixon Player of the Year Points earned throughout the year. The number of spots available for each age division will be decided based on the percent of total members of the Junior Tour in that division as of October 20th.. Spots will be determined after November 16th and invitations will be sent out shortly after.
Qualification/ Event Details
- The 90 players receiving invitations will be based on Player of the Year Points
- Invitations for this event will not be distributed until after the final event of the season (November 15-16)
- Cost to play in the Championship will be $250 including lunch one round and a deluxe tee gift
