The South Florida PGA Junior Tour recently held two back-to-back Toptracer Prep Tour tournaments, presented by Callaway, across an action-packed weekend. Young golfers from across the Section showcased their skills at Old Corkscrew Golf Club and PGA Golf Club, delivering impressive performances.
Toptracer Prep Tour, Presented by Callaway at Old Corkscrew Golf Club
On Saturday, September 14, 54 players teed off at Old Corkscrew Golf Club for a one-day, 18-hole tournament.
In the Boys 13-18 Division, Remi Lipon of Boca Raton and Guillermo Marin of Doral tied with a 7-over 79. Lipon claimed the title in a scorecard playoff, thanks to his stronger back nine performance.
Flynn Lewis of Jupiter shined in the Boys 11-12 Division, carding a 4-over 76, including a birdie on a par 3, to take first place.
The Girls 13-18 Division saw a close battle, with Manuela Moreno of Doral shooting a 10-over 82, edging out Stella Ronja Lind (83) by just one stroke for the win.
In the Girls 11-12 Division, Diya Bhatt of Doral dominated, shooting a 7-over 79 to win by 15 shots.
Toptracer Prep Tour presented by Callaway at PGA Golf Club - Ryder Course
The action continued on Sunday, September 15, at PGA Golf Club's Ryder Course, where 61 juniors competed.
In the Boys 13-18 Division, Julian Koehler of Palm Beach Gardens triumphed in a scorecard playoff over Mason Cauff of Sea Ranch Lakes. Both shot 4-over 75, with Koehler’s back nine performance securing his victory.
J. Holden Rice of Jupiter took first place in the Boys 11-12 Division, shooting 6-over 77 for his third win of the season.
In the Boys 9-10 Division, Victor Monssoh of Miami shot a 1-over 72, backed by three birdies, to claim victory by one stroke.
Stella Ronja Lind of Doral bounced back in the Girls 13-18 Division, shooting a 77 to secure first place, just ahead of Caitlyn Josey of Deerfield Beach, who shot 79.
Harper Kiss of Lighthouse Point claimed first in the Girls 11-12 Division with a 7-over 78.
In the Girls 9-10 Division, sisters Jenna and Julia Elharti of Melbourne competed, with Jenna taking the title after shooting 78, 11 strokes ahead of her younger sister.
