Saturday’s round at Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach was dominated by the following champions:
Boy’s 13-18:
Jacob Neal
Girl’s 13-18: Reese McMillan
Boy’s 11-12: Arthava Rajeshkumar
Girl’s 11-12: Ella Wester
Boy’s 9-10: Victor Monssoh
Girl’s 9-10: Isabella Eterovic
Jacob Neal, of Jensen Beach ended his round with a birdie on 18 and never lost control of the lead in the Boy’s 13-18 division. Neal carded a tournament low 74, three strokes ahead of Patrick Pinkney of Lauderhill.
With the help of back-to-back birdies, Reese McMillan of Jupiter took home the Girl’s 13-18 title. Darci Wagner finished at seven-over.
Arthava Rajeshkumar of Coral Gables and Ella Wester of Key Biscayne won the Boy’s and Girl’s 11-12 age divisions. Rajeshkumar carded a bogey free back nine to end the day at four-over, 76.
With help from his short game, Victor Monssoh of Miami finished with an eight-stroke victory in the Boy’s 11-12 division. The world champion golfer finished his round at three-over 75.
Closing out Saturday’s round, two Izzys went head-to-head for first place honors in the Girl’s 9-10 age division. Isabella Eterovic of Miami beat Isabel Lazo of Boca Raton with a 92.
Due to darkness, Sunday’s round at Crandon at Key Biscayne was cut short, taking only the holes completed into account.
After a second place finish in his previous event, Emilio Katsilometes of Weston used an eagle on 18 to capture the Boy’s 13-18 Division title. Katsilomete’s 77 was one shot better than Cooper Roth of Boca Raton.
In the Girl’s 13-18, Andrea Montaner of Key Biscayne and Laura Monslave of Miami both finished at 4- over, 76. Montaner and Monslave carded three total birdies throughout their rounds.
Finishing one stroke ahead of Hudson Ingram of Miami, John Saadeh of Naples shot 1-over, 73 to finish the day on top of the Boy’s 11-12. With the help of five birdies, Ingram followed closely behind.
Before darkness hit entirely, the Girl’s 11-12 division completed 16 holes. Of those 16, Tatyana Villegas of Miami celebrated a one shot lead over Stella Ronja Lind of Doral.
Luke Williams of Coral Gables and Larissa Wheelless of Miami finished strong and claimed victory in the 9-10 age divisions. Special recognition to Williams for carding a tournament low throughout all divisions at even par.
