Jupiter, Fla. - Today, the South Florida PGA Junior Prep Tour presented by The Honda Classic held the final Prep Tour Event of the 2017 season at Jonathans Landing at Old Trail. This event featured a full field of 72 players aging from 9-18 years old. With windy and rainy weather conditions the juniors rounded out the season by making memories, enjoying the game, and closed out the day with great food.
Eric Nguyen of Pembroke Pines and Boca Raton native Matthew Golovanov captured the boys 9-10 age division with a 7-over par 78. Gavin Schlembach of Delray Beach took home the boys 11-12 age division with an 81. Lake Worth native Kristian Urbaitis was runner-up in the boys 11-12 age division in a scorecard playoff with an 83. Tanner Vickers of Stuart captured the boys 13-18 age division with an an 82. Davie native David Miller III was runner-up in the boys 13-18 age division with an 83.
Kayla Bryant of Boca Raton and Delray Beach native Morgan Rodriguez captured the girls 9-10 age division with an 83. Christiana Lee Marcellus of Loxahatchee captured the girls 11-12 age division with an 84. Davie native Alessandra Tabora-Lorenz took home runner-up in the girls 11-12 age division with an 87. Amanda Harper of Jupiter captured the girls 13-18 age division with an 88. Jupiter native Morgan Wade took home runner-up in the girls 13-18 age division with a 90.

Fort Lauderdale native Sam Davey took home the boys 11-12 player of the year award with a total of 1,224 points. David Miller III of Davie captured the boys 13-18 player of the year award with a total of 1,103 points.
Kayla Bryant of Boca Raton captured the girls 9-10 player of the year award with a total of 1,050 points for the 2017 season. Pembroke Pines native Rachel Gomez took home the girls 11-12 player of the year award with a total of 1,225 points. Madison Elia of Boynton Beach captured the girls 13-18 player of the year award with a total of 710 points.
