WEST PALM BEACH, FL - The South Florida PGA Junior Tour has joined forces with Callaway and Toptracer to introduce the Callaway Medalist Tour, presented by Toptracer and the Toptracer Prep Tour, presented by Callaway.
The South Florida PGA Junior Tour has partnered with Callaway and Toptracer to enhance its impact on youth. The tour offers a journey for players ranging from 6 to 18 years old through three different tours: the Links Tour, the Toptracer Prep Tour presented by Callaway, and the Callaway Medalist Tour presented by Toptracer.
"We are thrilled to announce that Callaway and Toptracer have joined our Junior Golf Family as partners," said Meredith Schuler, Assistant Executive Director of the South Florida PGA. "Both brands have been outstanding partners for us at the section level, and we are confident that they will help us elevate the standard of competition and further grow our Junior Tour."
The announcement comes on the heels of the start of the 2024 Junior Tour season which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. In 1999 the Junior Tour hosted, without partnership support, six events for 80 juniors, this year the Junior Tour, now presented by Callaway and Toptracer, will conduct close to 100 events for 1,200 juniors. Junior Tour members represent over seven thousand rounds of golf annually.
In a partnership that is the first-of-its-kind for the SFPGA Junior Tour, Callaway and Toptracer which are housed under the parent company Topgolf, will join the South Florida PGA in its mission to promote junior golf, providing affordable competition and premiere events to junior golfers.
“We are looking forward to expanding our reach in the junior golf space,” said Callaway Director of Sales Peter Barry. “The explosion of golf and the future of our game begins and ends with junior golf and we are thrilled to work with the South Florida PGA to build upon their existing incredible junior golf program.”
The South Florida PGA Junior Tour, presented by Callaway and Toptracer will continue its 25th anniversary campaign with events this weekend. The Callaway Medalist Tour, presented by Toptracer kicks off 36 holes at Osprey Point Golf Course on Saturday, March 16th while the Toptracer Prep Tour, presented by Callaway will play Sandridge Golf Club. The 9-hole, beginner-level Links Tour will play Sunday, March 17th at The Links at Boynton Beach.
