Grace Carter, Matthew Marigliano, and Axel Monssoh emerged as champions in their respective divisions, dominating the event.
Grace Carter of Jupiter won the girls 13-18 division with a nine-stroke lead over Vanessa Zepeda of Miami, who finished in second place. After starting the final round one stroke off the lease, Carter propelled herself to a first-place position with a tournament-low 68, finishing at 2-under, 142 in the girls 13-18 division. Carter shot an impressive bogey-free, 4-under on the front nine, with the help of four birdies.
In the Boy’s 13-18 division, Matthew Marigliano, Charlie Woods, and Jonathan Weinberg battled throughout the two-days. Weinberg started round two in the lead after a 4-under, 68 in the first round. Marigliano and Woods chased Weinberg down in the final round and all three finished at 2-under after 36 holes, forcing a playoff.
Marigliano emerged victorious in the playoff after three holes, winning his first SFPGA victory of the 2024 season.
Axel Monssoh of Miami dominated the Boy’s 11-12 division with a 17-stroke victory. Monssoh carded a tournament-low 69 during his final round and won the event with a two-day total of 1-under, 143.
